Sector 9 Longboards and Skateboards

2 decades ago a small start up longboard company emerged in southern california known as Sector 9 Longboards. This company has grown to a massive company that produces high quality longboards for all types of riders. They have 8 different series of boards; the platinum series, the bamboo series, the cosmic series, the sidewinder series, cloud nine series, mini series, carving series, and the deep end skateboard series. They have everything from carvers to cruisers, and mini's to down hill bombers.

The sector 9 platinum series longboards are the high end boards which are mostly made for bombing hills with except to the joel tudor and the wings. They have a few boards made from carbon-fiber, the wedge uses mahogany wood, and the other longboards are the more common canadian maple wood.

The most popular sector 9 longboards series has to be the bamboo series. Like the name implies they are all made from 100% bamboo wood. The have 2 mini's in the bambino at 26.5 inches and the barong which is an old school styled board at 30.8 inches long. They even incorporated the sidewinder truck into one of the bamboo boards which is the sector 9 haleiwa longboard. They also have a hybrid styled bamboo longboard called the laniakea. The other boards are all good carver style boards which one being an amazing down hill longboard called the sunset that is in reproduction right now.
